Prior to joining Mesa West, Mr. Cleys served as a director for Combined Properties in Los Angeles where he oversaw the development of retail and mixed-use projects. He began his real estate career at Lowe Enterprises working in both commercial development and asset management groups. Mr. Cleys also worked at Glendale Federal Bank, where he managed a portfolio of troubled real estate loans, and Haverford Realty Capital, where he underwrote and managed a portfolio of mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments. He has an MBA and masters of real estate development from the University of Southern California and a BS in mathematics from Loyola University of Chicago.
